Update

Haven't posted in a while but better late than never right? It's been a little hectic over the past month, midterms nearly back to back and with assignments and quizzes nearly every week, it's hard to find time to just relax or post to a blog.

The midterms have gone well so far, nothing was particularly shocking except for the difficulty of the ECO100 midterm. Haven't had too much difficulty with 165 lately, except for the week where I missed all of the lectures since I had a midterm everyday we had lectures. Proofs were awkward to grasp at first because they went through about 20 steps to prove something that was intuitively true and it was just difficult to convey the intuition into steps and onto paper. Overall though, things are going smoothly.

Week 3 of CSC165

This week was OK in terms of the content. Nothing was particularly unclear or unusual to me. 

I found the exercise in last class to be a good change in pace over the typical lecture

First and Second week of CSC165

The first two weeks were relatively straightforward, although there were some topics which took more time to wrap my head around. From what I've seen so far and from the terrible wonderful things that my sister has told me about this course, this will not be as simple as a course such as CSC108 or some other first year courses. I don't expect particularly high marks in this course but that might just be because I'm a pessimist.
